The North Carolina Foundation for Soil and Water Conservation is a public non-profit tax exempt 501(c)3, chartered on April 27, 1999 and obtained non-profit status on February 22, 2000. The Foundation headquarters are located at 5171 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 330 in Raleigh, NC and it services all soil and water conservation districts in North Carolina. Since inception, the Foundation has raised over $11,000,000 in funds for local district projects. The Foundation funds projects addressing high priority natural resource and natural environment issues and building capacity in the 96 local conservation districts in the State.
